Historic Hood River
Wizard Falls Hatchery, 1949

Notes
In June of 1949 Alva Day and his colleagues visited the new (1947) Wizard Falls Hatchery. The hatchery is located in Camp Sherman and is used to stock the Deschutes River basin. Their website advises to visit in May or June to see Canada Geese goslings. Given how aggressive Canada Geese can be, I can only imagine what they are like with goslings around.
