June is a popular month for weddings. This one took place in 1920. Our database is a bit muddy on this one, but it is described as the wedding party of Bob and Armas (or Armes). It is from the same collection as the earlier picture of Edna Plog, so maybe some of those who helped with the earlier photo can help us out.
Weddings are now big business in Hood River, with many beautiful venues around the valley to attract the bridal parties from around the region.

Which gentleman did she marry? The one on her right? Her flowers look like roses. Do you suppose they are locally grown or did they arrive on the train?

I imagine that the roses were locally grown. Most women of that era had roses in their yards.
