Notes

How is it possible I never shared this image of Prince Koberg, lifeguard at Koberg Beach, participating in one of the Pet Parades from the 1930s?

Love it. Pet parades must have been a big thing back then. Wonder how that

    would go over nowadays?

Any idea who is holding the trident?

    “Neptune Pitchfork Trident of Poseidon
Parallel to its fishing origins, the trident is associated with Poseidon, the god of the sea in Greek mythology, the Roman god Neptune. In Roman myth, Neptune also used a trident to create new bodies of water and cause earthquakes.”

I thought the above description was rather fitting for today. Prince Koberg would probably love more bodies of water to teach swim lessons and today a multitude of earthquakes have been rattling off the Oregon coast.
