I don’t know who these people are, but we have several nice glass negatives of their family get-together. What do you think is their story?

Sad we can’t put a name to this family. Definitely not a Christmas picture. I am thinking that the two people on the right are the parents and the rest are either children and/or their spouses. Could be the woman holding the cane is crippled.
Does appear to be a nice prosperous family by their dress.

Because of the flower, (it’s not a rose), I would say a wedding.
Even though Grandpa’s clothes do not look as fancy, I think he has a silky shirt on over his overalls.
Any chance it is a Davidson photo?

I think it was a garden wedding with attendants. The Bride is holding the flower and the Groom is to her right (man with mustache). No coats on the women and looks like the sun is shinning. Spring? Anyhow, makes for a nice story anyhow. I wonder what the heart shaped pin indicates in the lapel of the young man?

The gentleman, second from the left, looks familiar, but none of the faces match up with the Davidson family.

Looks like a family shot- late day or early am before a gathering – as the shadows look long- They all seem to have a similar face. I see some chicken wire to protect the base of the climbing rose on the right- …. dang rabbits’ – and antlers to hang your hat near the front door. Note: Judy- If it is a wedding shot – the bride with the flower in her hand might not be so happy. 🙂

Steve r~ These were supposed to be "the good old days"! it was rare that anyone smiled! ha-ha In this case probably waiting so long for the photographer to take the darn picture! ;^)

Not that that is the case here, but in that era and prior a lot of people did not have teeth. There fore so smiling permitted.
Bill Baldwin
The woman on the right is Ella Mae (Stranahan) Baldwin, Standing to her right is Stephen Mason Baldwin and behind Stephen Mason is his son, Leonard Mason (Mace) Baldwin, my grandfather. I’m not sure about the others. Picture was taken before 1908 when Stephen Mason passed.
