Looks like it’s dinner time in the Camp Yallani mess hall. The photographer didn’t have the right equipment for a large indoor space like this, but I’ve done my best to bring out some of the faces on the hopes you’ll recognize some of the girls. Some of the associated slides were labeled “1957” so we’re guessing this set is from the late 1950s.

If that is 1957 it is the summer that I was a junior counselor.

So where on Kingsley was this? Walk across the dike, and was it to the left?

From where the parking lot is now, walk across the dike and it was on the hill to the right

You can still find some of the chimney there.
