You’ve already seen several pictures from the Arne Udelius album and you’ll see several more, but I thought you would enjoy seeing some of the wonderful documentation included in the album. Here is one of the end pages, documenting four climbs in 1941. There are four pages like this, as well as plenty of notes along with the photos.

Just think how interesting photo albums would be, if we all took time to write down details about the event. Not just the names.
A good lesson here. If I had done this with family photos when my children were young, it would so much more interesting to the family.
Of course, many of us can’t even get our photos into an album, much less write a diary about them.
