Historic Hood River
F. C. House Home
7-20-2016

Notes
This beautiful house on Avalon Way was built in 1904 for F. C. House, if I am reading the 1988 notes correctly. They indicate the oak tree on the left died in 1985 and the one on the far right died in 1988. This house was the home of Ned Marshall’s family in 1988, and I’m happy to say it still is. The house still looks the same, though the background looks quite different today.

I’ve known this house for the past 70 years, truly a wonderful home, because of the family’s that have lived there.

I spy a nice double swing on the left side of the home and scary fuzzy faces in the left window amoungst the reflection on the then much smaller pine tree needles that still appears present current day.

With 80 years of growth added to the trees, how large were they when they died?
I give a "like" to Kenn’s comment.
