Historic Hood River
Corn

Notes
We don’t get to use the keyword “corn” very much on this site, despite it being the subject of one of my favorite images in our collection. The caption identifies the man on the wagon as Kent Shoemaker, who was secretary of the Hood River Chamber of Commerce at the time. The man in the cap is E. E. Lage who was director of the Chamber, and the other man is Ed Sunday, brother of Rev. Wm. (Billy) Sunday. Ed Sunday managed the ranch for his famous brother. As you might guess, the farm was on Sunday Drive in the Hood River Valley.
