This certainly captures the mood of an era. It’s a Joe Young photo for the Hood River Fire Department, circa 1950. I think they’re sitting on the stairs at the north entrance to the Hood River Middle School (then Hood River High School) so I am guessing they were involved in an event or performance in the auditorium. Does anyone recognize these two men?

The man on the right may be John Mohr, who was a lawyer in Hood River.

That is my dad, John Mohr on the right. That may be Warner Henderson on the left. They both loved their cigars.
