Notes
I knew we’d eventually run across an image of a hose fight in progress. These were regular July 4th events, with two teams of firemen facing off against each other with powerful streams of water. The streets are paved in this shot, so it’s probably the late teens. If that’s the Knights of Pythias Hall to the upper left, then this would be on State Street just above the old firehouse on Fourth Street.

Being the "front of the line" guy, would be brutal.
I think those curtains hanging out the window might get a bit damp and it looks like viewers would have to choose their position wisely.
