Notes
Santa took a brief break for a photo at the Day’s house in Hood River in 1935. He seems a little distracted, possibly because he was expecting cookies and milk.

I always got the dolls, but only the clothes they were wearing. My Mom did not sew, so I had a lot of dolls, but the clothes were for a specific doll. So, had a big doll bed full of "unclothed" dolls. LOL

The girl, which is probably the Day’s youngest daughter, looks like she has been ill. Maybe just recovering and still not feeling so great?

Santa is IO Day. She is my Grandmother. She played Santa many times. Her husband Alva Day Built the house and lived there at 420 June street. The way that house was built it will last forever. Years after they both died the kids looked for his white lighting and couldn’t find it. The new owner started to pave the basement floor and found some boards under dirt under the stairs. The white lightning was under the boards. Sorry he was scared of it and threw it away. If you need more info use the email.
