Historic Hood River
Is It Live?
4-27-2016

Notes
Another plug for a fun and entertaining evening at the museum– tonight at 6:30 I will be talking about the early history of recorded music. I will play wax cylinders and shellac 78’s on hundred plus year old phonographs. Musician and musical historian Ben Bonham will be joining me to play live musical interludes, and help us see the threads connecting these old recordings with modern jazz, bluegrass, and country music. This is a one time only, unscripted event. $5 museum admission.

Recuperating from hip replacement surgery or I would be there. Sounds like a lot of fun!🎶🎶

Sorry to have missed this, Arthur. Hope you had a great turn out. Unfortunately never heard anything about it until the day before and I already had plans.
