shows a thick ice January 17, 1907 freeze.
I wonder if today’s photo is the same time element or if it is a year later in November/December 1907.

Looks like this photo captured the first known windsurfers on the Columbia, seen just in front of Wells Island. 🙂

I thought this was summertime and that was a sandbar around Wells Island. Unfortunately there is no more resolution to zoom in to, so we’ll have to keep guessing.
