Here’s another of the series of glass lantern slides we recently uncovered. They were shown in the 1920s in a local movie theater while the audience was waiting for the show. They offer a charming view into 1920s fashion and advertising art.
Previous generations of girdles were manufactured with whale bone, so the “boneless” design appears to be a critical selling point.

Interesting as the Victorian era had come to an end, as to display undergarments had been unthinkable, things not mentioned…. Best this raised some "oldsters" eye brows in the theatre.
Wonder if this was shown in the old Cascadia theatre?
