This photograph from the Hood River Ski Club shows what the sport looked like in the 1920s. No lift to be seen! This spot looks very familiar but I can’t quite place it.

Maybe the Jump Hill by the old Homestead Inn?

My guess is original Cooper Spur with the hills on the left and road system. Matches very positive to view from top of the current ski runs.

My first instinct was also Cooper Spur but I know the ski club used the jump hill a lot so I decided to go with that.
