Notes
I wish we had more info on this one. It was filed as a “Chaautauqua photo” but that’s not totally reliable. Perhaps it is at the Chautauqua park (now Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital), perhaps it’s Koberg beach, or perhaps at Lava Beds park. Anyone have a better idea?
I’ll bet those benches weren’t very comfortable.

At one time they were a big deal. Now we don’t seem to know much about them.

In 1927 the Chautauqua in Hood River was moved to the new high school auditorium.
