Suzi Conklin sent a couple of fine photos of Hood River taken back in the historic era of July 2018. She wondered if we’d be interested.
I’m looking forward to having time to work on photo acquisitions one of these days. We have such a strong collection of early photographs because the Hood River Pioneer Association made an effort to gather them back around 1912. Our collection, with a few exceptions, is weak beyond 1960. So if you have photos which tell the story of Hood River and were taken earlier than tomorrow, consider sharing them with future Hood Riverites, I can tell you how to do it.

I bet the history of the waterfront has never been lit up as it is in 2018.
