This Sawyer postcard of Mirror Lake shows it shortly after a major fire.
The popular Mirror Lake trailhead on US26 is being relocated. Work is almost complete and it will be open in about a week. Here are the project details.

This trail has a traffic problem, but if one puts up with the crowd this far it is worthwhile to continue south to the less occupied Wind Lake ~
