This image from a stereo pair is labeled in pencil “White Salmon River/ Trout Lake WA”. I’m sure this wooden structure is long gone. Can someone fill us in on the history of Trout Lake (the lake)? There’s not much lake there today.

In my research for bridges across the WS River I ran across an article Feb 1904 that mentioned that the Splashes from the Menomiee lumber Company dam at Trout Lake undermined the abutments of the Boss Bridge so that it was not safe for travel
