Dean Fletcher believed this soapbox racer style toy car was designed to look like W.F. Laraway’s treasured Marmon motorcar. I can see a few details to back up that suggestion. [Negative A-546]
That is the sweetest little car I have ever seen. Do you suppose it was made for little Percy? Maybe this was taken on the Lawaray farm in Hood River. When one got tired of the car one could go over sit in the swing and if that was a milk cow, sit there and milk her.

They sure didn't believe in building foundations so the living area was off the ground.

Bricks and concrete weren't easy to come by back then, but there was plenty of wood to replace whatever rotted away.
