Are those perhaps hop vines growing on the porches? The leaf size is very large on the front shrubs near the front steps. Any guess as to what plant it might be ? Perhaps that is a yucca plant on the left of the frame ?

While HHR was down, I could see the title "McIntosh Home", but no photo. What a beautiful home. Is it still standing? There is evidently a McIntosh Drive located in Parkdale. In the 1910 census there is an E Charles McIntosh and wife R. Arina. They live at Baldwin on the Mt Hood Stage Road. Homestead 1908. Cascade Forest Reserve. General Farm. Hopefully Charlott will know more about this home.

Maybe next week I’ll just put up titles and ask you to fill in the photo?
Charlott
I can’t tell you anything about the home. I don’t recall ever seeing it, so feel it probably met the wrecking ball a long time ago. What a shame.
I can tell you a little about the McIntosh family. Charlie McIntosh lived in The Dalles with his parents Jesse and Susan until he married Annie Rawson.
Charlie had a brother Bob who worked for the O.R. and N. Railroad and was working in the yard in The Dalles. Signaled the engineer to back up. He some how fell and was run over by the train.
Charlie and Anna also had an adopted daughter named Mary, but don’t know what happened to her.
Kyle
Beautiful house. They could be hops, which certainly love to climb.
