I was going to say that’s stupid, but that wouldn’t be nice.

Mom remembers sometime in the late 20’s someone thought it would be a good idea to ride a horse to the top of Mt. Hood. When they slipped and fell the horse slid all the way into a crevasse, and she guesses it’s still there. This photo makes me wonder if this is the person looking for the horse.
