That structure and tower is definitely white man construction. What ever it was it possibly had to do with the cannery down river. Something to ponder about. All that was long gone by my time.

We stopped at a resterant near where Celilo used to be visable about 25 years ago. I asked a waitress if she knew about where it was before the water covered it. She said she heard it was near here maybe they moved it. My wife looked at me and said don’t say anything..We’ll talk later. I have many pictures that my Grandfather Alva Day who lived at 420 June St. If somebody Can help me get these pictures to some body that would like to displace them so they could be seen by everyone.
