This group of Camp Yallani girls is dated 1957. Can you identify any of the campers, or explain why they have leaves on their heads?

They don’t look very happy. Maybe it’s their first time going to camp. Is that an airstream trailer?

The location certainly doesn’t appear to be Camp Yallani. Making wreaths (if that is what they are wearing) to wear on head could be a camp activity but I’m wondering if pictures from other summer camps could be mixed in with this collection.

That is the summer I was a counselor and never saw a trailer like that up there. I am sure that is not Yallani.

A couple of the slides show a group of Campfire Girls at a party at a house in the valley. I think this might be part of that group. I was wondering who kept the lawn growing up at Yallani!

There is no grass at Yallani. It’s the woods.

Well, the Chevy is a 1952 +- Woody, we had one, 3 on the tree 6 cylinder.
Some drunk hit it while parked in front of our house. Good-bye Woody.
My dad drove it from the factory back to Seattle, waay back then.
