Where Am I?
10-20-2025

Notes
We haven’t done a “Mystery Monday” image for a while, but this seems like a good one to toss out for your consideration. Can you identify the location? Both buildings still exist, though I won’t promise they are identical today. Submit your guesses in the comments below to win fame. Sorry, no fortune today.
This image is from the Samuel Blythe collection. I don’t think that is a clue, but I could be wrong.

My guess is the home on the left is now the Oak St., Hotel.

I guess that was too easy. Steffen is correct, the building on the left is the Oak St. Hotel and the building on the right is Lake Taco, formerly Brian’s Pourhouse. The roof on the building to the right has been changed quite a bit but the windows, chimney and roofline on the Oak St. Hotel are identical to this view. I will add a modern view.
