Here’s a fine view of Spirit Falls. We saw it earlier next to this log flume. I think it’s time for a field trip to see these falls.

Steep, poison oak and rattle snakes.

However, all of the above, would be better than going over the falls in a Kayak, which seems to be a favorite pass time for today’s society.
No more logs and flumes.

LE…walking yes, but it is a super steep rocky descent down a semi-loose talus-rock slope. Ready?

I am disappointed.
How come none of the other HHR crew is jumping in here for a hike.
Actually Scott….I can still get down there OK. but, it would probably take me two days to hike out of there. Maybe three.

The land between the Cook-Underwood Road and the Falls is private. There is not a trail and the land owners do not appreciate those who trespass.

Anita Gahimer Crow……I am well acquainted with recreationists lack of respect for private property. I suspect many users of the makeshift trail were not aware it was located on private property and hopefully the word will get around that the trail is off limits for viewing the falls.

The route to Spirit Falls is not recognizable as private property, wonder how we were expected to know. I can also see no damage to any property by the little foot traffic that has occurred.
