Here’s a fine view from the White Salmon bluff, circa 1915. When I first queued this up I intended it as a nice break from the gloom of winter, but we’ve had some unseasonably blue skies lately.

It is a great photo for cheering up a gloomy day. Not unusual for a south facing slope to appear cheerful.
I assume this is the same area as the previous WS photo? It looks like the same woven wire fence.
It looks like maybe they have started cutting hay.

It’s interesting to see the amount of snow on Hood considering this looks like early summer?
