Twin Tunnels Balconies?

I think these are the balconies at the Twin Tunnels on the Columbia River Highway. Or is this the Mitchell Point Tunnel? You may have to squint to see but one of Ella May Davidson’s relatives is at the second balcony enjoying the view. You can see the railroad and utilities below.

Pretty neat!
My guess is, the foliage and sand doesn’t really fit the Mitchell Point Tunnel location. But, I have been wrong plenty of times.

Twin Tunnels seem to be at much higher elevation than this.

(As Will said) The distance down to the railroad isn’t great enough to be the twin tunnels, I don’t think. And the terrain down there isn’t right, either. Feels like somewhere else.

Once again, I guess I am wrong, but it is still a pretty neat photo.
The rock masons had their work cut out for them, building on this cliff.

Of note is the large Doug Firs so close to the water’s edge and perhaps sand at the shore line in the foreground. In today’s eyes the 84 freeway is now next to the vertical rock and the railroad tracks are built up along and into the river. Next time we zip along passing by let’s all look for any remains on the rock formation to the left as pictured. The fallen small stones on top of masonry cap on this contemporary but handy placement of the camera perhaps indicates the tunnel has been open for a while as the mortar appears some what aged in color in comparison to the stone work itself and the masonry cap.
