Notes

There is so much more here than I saw at first glance. Yes, it’s a classic school picture, but closer examination shows the photographer interrupted a snowball fight. Two of the boys and two of the girls are still holding snowballs, and it’s not hard to see who’s been at the receiving end. May favorite part is the smirk on the face of the third girl from the left.

This is from the Barrett School, circa 1904. A contemporaneous marking on the back says “Prof Murphy”.

Three girls are holding snowballs. One is trying to hide it down at her side. And who knows what those boys have behind their back.
Great photo that makes you smile.

The second girl from the left looks like the second boy from the left just put some snow down her back. She's cringing. Lots to discover here.
