It looks like this tree trimmer could really use a chipper. He’s got a crosscut saw mounted on the truck, but it’s not clear how the brush is attached to the back. The kids seem amused by the spectacle. This is an Ella May Davidson image, circa 1918.

At first, I mistook that pile of branches for the now-ubiquitous Himalayan Blackberries.

L.E.: It looks like the house with th shed dormer is 902 Columbia St. The photographer must have been standing on the 900 block of Cascade.

I think the kids are standing next to the utility pole in front of 915 Cascade, the actual pole has probably been replaced at least once since then.

Good work JEC, my guess was it was Cascade based on how the hillside is falling off. I’ve added a streetview.
