Historic Hood River
To the People of Mosier and All Whom It May Concern:–

Notes
Just in time for your holiday viewing, digital copies of the Mosier Bulletin newspaper are now online at the Oregon Digital Newspapers Program. These issues offer great insight into boom years for the town of Mosier, and also offer additional information on neighboring towns like Hood River and the Dalles.
You can now read most of our early Gorge newspapers online. Copyright laws make it harder to digitize newspapers beyond December 31, 1922 (unless you can document an orphaned copyright), but we are hoping to at least raise funds to digitize the final decade of The Hood River Glacier between 1923 and 1933. Unfortunately these later newspapers had more pages so the cost of digitizing them also climbs.
Here’s your tour of our early Gorge newspapers from west to east:

Prior to (and after) 1909 much of the Mosier news was covered by the Hood River newspapers.

A meteor fell in Dufur!!
I can waste a lot of time reading old newspapers, but I love doing it.

I think the word "supposedly" is key to that article about the Dufur meteorite. I think it’s the reason we’ve never heard about it.
