Historic Hood River
Third Street, 1913
1-29-2025

Notes
We have an odd but interesting 1913 panorama which covers 270 degrees taken from the intersection of Oak and Third Streets. A couple of years ago I showed the view up Oak Street. This is the portion of that image looking down 3rd Street to the Union Building. The First National Bank Building and Hood River State Bank frame the image. There is a butcher shop on the east side of 3rd Street.

Arthur, do you know when the clock was added to the FNB building?

That’s where I park my car when I go to my Accupuncture appointment!!
Today’s sidewalk seems much more narrow.

Buck, I’ve been unable to pinpoint when the clock was added to the First National Bank. The main entrance was moved at some point, and I wonder if the clock was added at the same time.
