Notes
The notes say Herb Field and Hal Nesbit owned the Tire Shop at 214 Oak Street from 1916 to 1926. A sign in the window invited “Everybody Come” to the “Military Ball.” Another sign says “Keep Smiling with Kellys.”
I’m suspicious of the address. My guess is we’re looking at the NE corner of 4th and Oak.

Zerolene was originally oil products by Standard Oil, which eventually became Chevron.
I am trying to figure out what that is that he has attached to what looks like his belt loop. No doubt something to do with cars, tire, etc.

Kelly tires…..good rubber and they stayed on the wheel. So the adds said.
They sure are skinny.

I have this picture of my Great Uncle Hal Nesbit. It has the year 1917 written on it. His store "Hal’s Tire Service" was on the corner of 4th and Oak.
