This seems to be where the Plog’s spent the night in Mt. Rainier National Park. I’m not sure if they had one of the tent platforms or stayed in the guest house.

It looks like it is not actually Sunrise. This is taken from Paradise. The building is where mountain rescue now have their offices. There are restrooms on the ground floor of that building.

Andy– I just meant the photo was taken at sunrise. I forgot there was a place on the mountain called “Sunrise”.

The windows are open upstairs. Must be warm. It would be interesting to compare the snow on the mountain come August.

I was at this same spot on Mr. Rainier last August, the Mountain had very little snow.
