Horace Gilkerson was born in Kanakee, Illinois in 1890 and eventually came to Hood River. His wife was Veryl Oliver. He died here in 1965.

photo stop……not why my family stopped…..it was called CAR SICK….."barf stop" at the million dollar restroom………thanks for fixing the system Arthur…missed my morning "fix". I think I always got car sick on the westward journey…….or so the memory says.
