These folks give meaning to the phrase “Sunday Best.” They are posing for an image commemorating the dedication of the Odell Methodist Episcopal Church in 1911. The church building is still around with few external modifications. It is now called the Wy’east Community Church.

Same church, apparently the same day (note outfits, especially of the women in the middle), with some of the same people seated in the same place. But this photo apparently has only a select group–far fewer people. I wonder why?

(I should note that I renamed my photo after seeing here that this was the church’s dedication; mine had no ID except that it was the Methodist church around 1912.)
