Alta Walter labeled this image, “Summer Dinner at Pifer’s Parkdale Summer Camp.” It looks very much like the Chautauqua site we saw before. Alice, Florence and Helen Pifer appear frequently in this album. This image is from 1919. I shared it as a reminder we’ll soon be enjoying meals outdoors just like the Pifer and Walter clan.

yes outdoor dining is returning!!!! Roger and I remember one of those grinding wheels with seat and pedals at our belmont place.

We had one of those grinding wheels in our barn. I would sit on it and pedal and pedal for the fun of it.
I wonder what happened to it.
Probably no paper plates used at this outdoor dining.
