Historic Hood River
Summer Camping
8-11-2022

Notes
Olga and Edna Plog seemed to spend most of the summer of 1923 camping at different spots in Oregon and Washington. This is from an August trip to a lake. It looks like they loaded a truck with tents, then piled in everyone they knew. The plates are from Washington.

Looks like a small lake. They all look pretty clean, so I wonder if they had to travel dusty mountain roads to reach their destination or if the destination was close.

It looks like they are dressed up a bit to go camping, at least by today’s standards. Perhaps this is the "before" picture, when they had just arrived.
