Historic Hood River
“Street Scene- Hood River, Ore.”

Notes
There’s plenty of nice detail in this view up Oak Street from the corner of First Street. I’m dating it to the late 1940s, awaiting Dale’s verification of the automobiles. We have the Mt. Hood Hotel’s 1913 annex, with Anderson Apparel, Mason Insurance, Franz Furniture and Rexall Drugs in the first two block on the north side of the road, and Western Auto Supply, Case Farm Machinery, Garrabrant Bros. Chrysler Plymouth, and Keir’s Drugs on the south side.
