By 1933 Alva Day and the Game Protective Association had come a long way from their early effort to stock local lakes. These trucks with long booms replaced the pack animals.  Those milk pails would have been full of juveniles fish from the local hatchery.  While they were still using milk pails, their proven methods would lead to a higher survival rate.  It’s also impressive how far trucks had come in the 15 years separating these stocking efforts.
