Historic Hood River
Steelhead and Chinook
6-30-2016

Notes
This 1939 Alva Day image is titled “Steelhead and Chinook.” It reminds me of a friend’s comment that he respects steelhead more than salmon. When I asked him why, he replied, “because steelhead stay here in the winter.”

That big guy has a pretty good hooked snout.
The boy must be Carroll Day? Not sure we have ever seen him in an Alva Day photo.
L.E.
We saw Carroll hiding in a bunny rabbit costume.
