I haven’t seen this C. S. Reeves postcard of Koberg Beach before. I didn’t know there were campsites at Koberg. With no highway and trains running far less frequently, I bet it was a nice place to spend the night.

There were lots more passenger trains though. The schedules in the Hood River Glacier showed several trains each day.

Looks like all the passenger rail stops in HR were between 5AM and 9PM.

Interesting to see the 3 spur railroads east of The Dalles that terminate in Shaniko, Condon and Heppner. Amazing how many stops there were on each of them! (Maybe more for sheep than people.)
