Historic Hood River
Punch Bowl

Notes
This couple visited Punchbowl Falls in the early 1900s. Given her gloves, I suspect it was a bit of a scramble down to the water level.
I think they are Harry and Florence Leslie, who make many appearances in a Blythe family 1907 Christmas album.
Charlott
Harry and Florence Leslie are related to the Blythe family. Harry was born in 1883 in Portland and died in 1960 in Seaside, California. His wife's maiden name was Lang and she was born here in Oregon in Marshfield. She died in California in 1975. They had one son Melvin Richard.

Hood River's Sam Blythe married Emma Nation.
Harry B. Leslie…… the B stands for Blythe and Florence, were married May 22, 1907 in Portland. He was a grocer. Harry's mother was Elizabeth Nation an older sister of Sam's wife Emma.
I couldn't make any connection between Florence Lang and The Dalles photographer Anne Lang.
In the Aug. 03, 1911 Coos Bay newspaper: “Mrs. Harry Leslie and son, Melvin leave on the next Breakwater for Portland where they will join Mr. Leslie who left some time ago. They intend to make Portland their home.”
They didn't make their home in Portland for long, because they ended up in California. Coos Bay was the home area of Florence Lang's family.

Must have been a cold and wet winter that did in any ideas of living in Portland
after living in sunny California.
