Border collies are notorious for harassing ducks, rabbits, chickens etc when their boss leaves.

This is my dog, Buttons, in the late 1950s – early 1960s. Parkdale. Rabbits were one of my 4-H projects. Periodically I would take them out of their pens and let them "graze" on the lawn – inside the moveable fence. Buttons would supervise them. I marketed cut-up rabbit fryers to Cliff (?) Beam at Merle’s Market in Hood River.
