Starting to look like one of the cars that was buried by a front loader in the Safeway parking lot a few years ago!
It didn’t reappear until spring melted to snow.

I was hoping for some guesses for year and make of car. The trim line above door handle and roof line behind the door should be good hints.

Roger, a little hard to tell about the vehicle make, but it’s a coupe for sure.
The pick up/work truck in the back ground with side storage boxes mounted on the bed, really looks like a 1949 or so, 5 window cab, made by Chevrolet/GMC and fit’s Arthur’s Jan 14, 1950 info. That cab design was one of my favorites growing up back then.

A good photo for today. This is the day Hood River was blessed with 47 inches of snow in 1980.

Just have to make another car comment. I think it’s a 1934 Chevrolet coupe. Door wing window, side trim line, no rear side window, roof trim line behind door match up pretty well–maybe.
Dale it’s hard to believe people made work trucks out of those beautiful 5 windows! Now we’ll have to work on that 5th wheel tractor trailer farther in the snow.

Roger, You could very well be correct….Chevy introduced the body style shown in the photo in 1933.
Half ton trucks back then were not “grocery getter’s”, but really used for making income.
The “semi” tractor is more of a challenge, as trying to blow up the photo quickly loses detail.

I’ll bet that is Alva’s 35 chevy coupe. Dennis Day described it in a earlier post with Alva holding a nice fresh caught salmon.
