Historic Hood River
Packed For Travel
9-10-2026

Notes
These folks in front of Alva and Io Day’s June Street home have taken advantage of every trick to pack their Model T for a camping trip. This answers the question of why Model T’s always seem to have random holes in their fenders. It looks like there’s more stuff tied on the back. I’m guessing the passenger running board has some baggage too, but they’ve probably left a space at the door so they can climb out without too much trouble.
We don’t have a date but I’ll bet they’re headed for their annual trip to Lost Lake.

What year Model T ?

I’m not great at the “date the Model T game” unless it’s a 26-27 (it’s not). 1920-1925 is the best I can offer. Dale may be able to do better,
