Notes
This 1894 view of a young orchard has a few hints about the location. The current owner’s name is hard to read– perhaps “Jurdick”– but the annotator indicated it was then the location of the Ideal Fruit and Nursery Company. Does anyone know where that was?
I’m pretty sure that’s Horatio Davidson in the carriage.

This is out there on Tucker Road in the area of Guignard Road and probably owned by August Guignard.

Could this be where Seven Oaks Bed and Breakfast is located? The 1928 home of August Guignard?

David Burkhart in "It All Began with Appleseeds" says Ideal Fruit was owned by August Guignard and Fritz Rossiger who developed a new fruit grader. Became known as the Ideal Grader Company.
