Notes

Here’s a Joe Kollas view of Oneonta Gorge. There are four people in there, if you look closely.

Quite the geological feature. Kind of makes me think of Alice falling down the rabbit hole.

    Anyone have a geological explanation?

Did some research and it's called a slot canyon, and Tom Kloster just happens to have a blog on it too. Just google Oneonta Canyon.

Great place to go on a hot day. Bummer probably won't get to go there for a number of years. Totally trashed in the Eagle Creek fire.

We visitied it just days before the Eagle Creek fire. Even with the tourists fresh off the plane (some of them wading back through all this water in their shiny new shoes and track suits), it's amazing back there on a hot day.

Closed. They may never reopen it. That's the rumor I heard. Too many people.
