This is a detail from a Davidson image of construction of what I believe is the building we now call the “Union Building”- in their era it was the Davidson Fruit storage, and later the Apple Growers Association storage. It’s amazing a large building like that could be built with small wheel barrows full of concrete or mortar.

Arthur, agree but I liken the small loads of concrete being akin to "taking a bite out of the elephant". Eventually its eaten up!
