This is such a perfect vacation picture I couldn’t resist sharing it. Alta Walter, Grace Palmiter and Viola made it all the way from Hood River to Yellowstone, and they took snapshots of all the sites. This view of Old Faithful erupting could have been shot yesterday– except for the clothing and the lack of crowds!
Of course today you don’t have to drive 750 miles in a Model T to see Old Faithful erupt. You can sit at home and watch the live stream.

I am so glad Old Faithful is still faithful. I am also so glad we women no longer have to be faithful in wearing dresses, nylons, and shoes with heels when we travel.
